Krystal Ball pictures named political dirty pool by candidate

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Virginia Democrat and 1st Congressional District candidate Krystal Ball, 28, has “an image problem”. That’s because the Ball photos that are making the rounds of the web depict Ball as a very bad Santa that incumbent Republican opponent Robert Wittman cannot ignore. Wittman has said he had nothing to do with the release of the pictures. He wants to talk issues. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in Ball photos

The candidate is at a college Halloween party with her who was then husband in the Ball photos that are six years old. Ball’s husband is dressed as a reindeer with collar and small pet chain, and Ball is wearing a Santa hat. The real scandal is that you will find photos of Ball and a friend interacting with the nose on Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer which looks like a sex toy.

Wittman has requested that the photos be taken down

According to the Times-Dispatch, Wittman asked that the photos come down off of the blog where they begun. He probably is doing this because he either already knows the damage is done or he does not believe in dirty politics. Ball already is doing something about this. She wasn’t going to wait. She lashes back at the release of the photos in a YouTube video that she released. Ball indicated how embarrassed she is in the release of the photos that she does not deny are her.

Ball should calm down

In her YouTube response (see below), Krystal Ball discusses significant issues pertaining to the midterm election. She states that there needs to be repair of unemployment and budget deficits. She also said the school systems need help. Before ending, Ball makes sure to fire back at the “crass political operatives (who) will resort to the politics of personal destruction when they cannot talk about the issues.” She says the Krystal Ball pictures are really just “sexist and wrong.” Then Ball says that even if a young woman has done something embarrassing on a camera, she ought to nevertheless have political aspirations.
