The law has caught up to Lohan. This isn’t the first time though. The Los Angeles court called her in because she failed another drug test. Lohan was designed to be in a 23-day stint rehab at Ronald Reagan Memorial Hospital. She had only served 13 of her 90 day imprisonment sentence in the LA County Jail before that. Clearly the rehab did not work. She failed a drug test during probation which was really routine. Now the judge gets to determine her fate.
Lohan still failing her drug tests
Lindsay Lohan was expected to be put back in jail following the latest drug test. Lindsay Lohan told her followers on Twitter, according to The Guardian, that she had failed one more drug test. Dina Lohan and Ali Lohan, also as Lindsay Lohan’s attorney, were conspicuously absent. Michael Lohan did talk to reporters as he explained that he should be taking the place of Lindsay in going to imprisonment. Lindsay was denied bail by Judge Elden Fox, and she could be behind bars until her listening to on October 22.
Past troubles
As a previous child star, Lohan was shown in 2007 in her first bit of lawful trouble. Lohan had to go to therapy, reports the Los Angeles Times, after crashing an automobile twice when drunk. She missed some of her alcohol education meetings which the court didn’t like that much. She also tested optimistic for cocaine. After doing just under two weeks in jail, she underwent a three-week rehabilitation. She went on probation after that which required substance screenings. She was found to have ingested amphetamines after her sentence. Her detention until her hearing in October will last longer than the jail portion of her sentence in July.
Judges are now being unkind about this
Her father, and others, have decried the denial of bail until her hearing. Of course, every little thing else isn’t working to help her so something else must be tried.
