Researchers of the University of Illinois have upgraded a nano-needle which will be much competent to test the biological process which continues in the living cellular structure and tissues. According to Min-FengYu who is the professor of the mechanical science and engineering, nano-needle is very helpful to researchers to make a deep probe into the on-going biological process including biophysical components inside the cells. It helped scientists to keep all the track of the fluorescent quantum dots which are available in cytoplasm and nucleus structure.. To be frank, these quantum dots can be further utilized by the scientists for doing much research and experiment in the areas of molecular mechanics and physical components within the cellular structure. Boron nitride nanotube has been used to upgrade this nanoneedle. For smooth handling, it is fixed with a glass pipette. According to Yu, the world famous scientist, nanoneedle is very useful to do research on electroche mical element and biosensors. It also assists scientists to examine the impact of the nanoparticles on living cells.
